Recently I am proud owner of an alto trombone by Markus candlestick, after I played for decades a Heribert Glassl Instrument I have. I am very happy with the instrument. She has a easy response in all registers and is very flexible in its the sound design, so that it always fits in perfectly with the trombone group and the orchestral sound. Nevertheless she brings her unique sound of the alto trombone, which also effortlessly I can take the lead. The range of dynamics is legendary, the is possible on this instrument. The intonation is completely problem-free.
I am simply enthusiastic about the quality of the pure craftsmanship.
